Upcoming 9th Edition to Explore Current Industry Trends with New Fragrance Segment and Conference Topics
BEIJING, 17 December 2015 — Following its recent announcement on expanded exhibitor profiles, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) is pleased to unveil Fragrance@PCHi, a brand new exhibition zone at the upcoming Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) 2016 trade show. From 1 – 3 March 2016, PCHi will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, where the personal care industry will convene for three days of ingredients sourcing, business networking, and learning.
In recent years, the increasing demand for organic cosmetics has fuelled a global natural megatrend within the personal care industry. In particular, natural oils serve as a popular and effective way to incorporate natural ingredients with cosmetic products. Fragrance is yet another determining factor that influences consumers’ decision when choosing personal care and household products. According to research reports, the global market for fragrance ingredients was valued at USD 12,383.25 million in 2013 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% to reach USD 17,104.21 million by 2019 [1] .
Elynn Xu, PCHi Project Manager, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, expressed, “These days, consumers tend to favour cosmetics made of natural ingredients over those with chemical ingredients. Being an industry-leading trade event, it is PCHi’s responsibility to present content that inspires creativity and spurs new innovations. This is why we decided to add a new exhibition zone that highlights natural ingredients. For a start, we are focusing on two ingredient segments, but we expect to expand this zone in future editions.”
A standalone zone dedicated specially to companies in the Fragrance and Natural Oils segment, Fragrance@PCHi enablesvisitors to gain access to a range of ingredients offered by exhibitors who specialise in these areas.
