Description
Experience the sensory of traditional bar soap in the form of a body wash with this rich shower formulation. The creamy texture of this liquid soap will easily build lather for an all-over feeling of clean and a velvet afterfeel. Carbopol® Aqua SF-1 Polymer provides excellent viscosity and long flow rheology. The surfactant system is based on the coconut derived Potassium Cocoate, which contains glycerin and acts as a natural moisturizing agent. Chemoxide™ CAW Surfactant promotes creamy flash foaming characteristics.
Procedure
- PART A: Solubilize Tetrasodium EDTA in Deionized Water in a suitable mixing vessel.
- Add Carbopol® Aqua SF-1 Polymer and mix until uniform.
- PART B: Add Sodium Hydroxide (18% solution) to batch with mixing to neutralize. Check pH (should be 9.0 – 9.5). Adjust with additional Sodium Hydroxide as needed. Mix until uniform.
- PART C: Add ingredients to batch one at a time, in order with mixing. Mix batch until uniform
