With Solaveil™ XT- 40W as the single active, SPF 25 and one third UVA protection can be achieved whilst also meeting natural criteria. Inclusion of Organic Apricot Kernel Oil moisturises and nourishes the skin whilst the natural o/w emulsifier NatraGem™ E145 provides a light, spreadable texture. All ingredients are approved natural by Ecocert and the composition of the formulation complies with the rules set out by Ecocert for a ‘natural and organic’ formulation. The label of this formulation may have the characteristics ‘99,6% of the total ingredients are of a natural origin’ and ‘10% of the total ingredients are issued from Organic Agriculture’.

Method
Combine Pricerine 9091, Veegum Pure and Keltrol RD. Add water with stirring. Once dispersed heat to 85°C. Combine oil phase ingredients (part A) and heat to 85°C. Add Solaveil XT-40W and Dermosoft GMCY to water phase with stirring and briefly reheat. Add oil phase to water phase with stirring. Homogenise for one minute. Stir and cool to room temperature adding phase C ingredients below 40°C.
