Since the beginning of the pandemic, many changes have occured in the ways that people purchase goods

Even as more and more people become immunized, disease prevention and control measures are still essential.

Our newfound awareness of hygiene and cleanliness will not soon be forgotten, and brands that are committed to protecting people’s health seek innovations that will allow them to offer safer and more hygienic experiences for their consumers.

At the forefront of these innovations is Adhespack, a company with over 20 years of experience in sampling technologies.

Adhespack has developed a line of fragrance labels and cards embedded with a nanotechnology varnish that has been proven effective against bacteria and viruses, including coronavirus.

Efficacy varnish tests have been preformed on Adhespack’s samples with both bacteria and viruses, including the alphacoronavirus Sars-CoV-2, which is in the same family as the virus that causes Covid-19.

These tests, which were carried out in accordance with international standards, provide convincing evidence that viruses and bacteria are unable to attach to or multiply on the surface of the samples, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring that viruses are not spread even if a customer shares a sample.

“The special varnish on our new line of samples protects against microorganisms on each sample’s surface,” says Sergio Picciarelli, director of marketing and innovation at Adhespack. “This extra protection is added to our standard line that is already safe, hygienic, and single-use.”

When the pandemic began, Adhespack had already launched the Ticket Scent, a technology inspired by the ticket dispensers used for queues but adapted and patented for perfume samples.

Now, after much research and development, Adhespack is the first sampling company in the world to offer sampling solutions with additional protection against viruses and bacteria.
