Nowadays, protecting aerosol packaging from corrosive destruction is the essential task in the perfumery cosmetics and household chemicals production. Aerosol cans corrode when exposed to an aggressive environment during storage and exploitation. As an aerosol cans corrosive effects result, product leaks occur, resulting in the loss of products in people’s domestic conditions or during transportation and storage. There is a need to stop the product manufacturing and replace the formulation components, which leads to the cost increase of such products. To reduce the corrosive activity of chemical composition inside the aerosol package, it is necessary to add corrosion inhibitors, the addition of which significantly reduces corrosion without affecting the composition.

Bio packaging is packaging mad from renewable biological resources such as plants, agricultural by-products or microorganisms, rather than from fossil fuels, which is an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic.The current review is devoted to biobased packaging material, its main characteristics and examples of ready products.
