PCHi-2017: Results of the Jubilee Exhibition

The 10th edition of the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show has opened its doors at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center to thousands of industry professionals from around the world. PCHi 2017 attracted a record total of 507 global exhibitors, who put up a remarkable showcase of the latest ingredients and technologies.

The Results of the International Exhibition Forum Interexpo – 2017

INTERBYTCHIM 2017 (The International Exhibition Forum InterExpo), which was held from February 28 to March 2, 2017 in Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, is the meeting place for producers of the household chemistry and personal hygienic care means, distributors, suppliers of raw materials, packaging and equipment, who are aimed towards increase of the sales volumes and strengthening of their market position. The article presents the results of the empirical study conducted in Moscow and Vladimir (Russia) in 2016. The results provide understanding of the needs and preferences and shopper behavior specifics of Russian seniors in cosmetics market. 64% of respondents confirmed that they pay a lot of attention to their appearance, with the focus on face and body care. Only 25,12% base their shopper decision primarily on the product characteristics, but for almost half of the respondent price is the most important factor. Respondents report that the most satisfied with the assortment, nevertheless it is important to respond the needs of the senior audience in the more efficiently.
